There are many different types of beaded bead projects. My goal was to create a bead I can use with a leather cord. It should be empty inside with a hole for stringing on the cord. I used them for decorating a necklace.
For 1 beaded bead you need:
- 10 size 3mm pearls;
- 10 size 3mm bicones;
- 5 size 4mm bicoens;
- Seed beads size 11;
- FireLine 0.006” or 0.008”;
- Beading needle;
We start with stringing 5 seed beads and 5 size 3mm pearls alternating. Make a ring going through all of them again and through the first few beads one more time. The thread exits through a seed bead. Pull the thread.
String a 3mm bicone, a seed bead, a 4mm bicone, a seed bead, and a 3mm bicone. We are going to build a new level of the bead. Loop back and go through the seed bead the 3mm pearl and through the seed bead the thread exited. Then continue to go through the next 3mm pearl and the seed bead. Pull the thread.
String a 3mm bicone, a seed bead, a 4mm bicone, and a seed bead. Pass through the nearest 3mm bicone and then, pass through the seed bead, the 3mm pearl and the seed bead. Pull the thread. Pass through the next 3mm pearl and the seed bead. You need to repeat this step 2 more times.
For the last section you need go up through the 3mm bicone , string a seed bead, a 4mm bicone and a seed bead and pass through the 3mm bicone of the 1rst section. Turn through the seed bead, the 3mm pearl and a seed bead.
Secure the thread passing through the rings of 3mm beads.
Before you start beading you need to know the diameter of the cord you will use. This beaded bead fits for 2mm cord but will sit tight.
More instructions for this projected are available on my YouTube video, I do my best to speak in English, be patient with me I still working hard on my new language.
